Hello again, how are we all? If you are like me and found it difficult to quantify the series of unfortunate events.. from the global pandemic (which is sadly still thriving in many countries), national lockdowns, global travel restrictions, the BLM movement, wildfires in Australia and California...I could go on. It seems that social, environmental and political shocks have prompted an increasingly uncertain future for all.
Amongst the disorder and misinformation, I found solace in science, this sounds cringey I know and yes there is bad science out there. However, by skipping the news (which is rather depressing these days) and listening to science podcasts, I was reminded of the creative determination of people, who seek solutions to the challenges faced throughout history to the present day.
Here are my personal favourites:
Alas, this blog is back again, with a wider focus this time - on all matters related to global environmental change. My aim of blogging is to summarise scientific research into digestible, dare i say, FUN pieces to read! So far, I am thinking of delivering mini series' on topics such as corporate ESG (environmental, social, governance), climate dynamics, climate change impacts on hydroecological systems, atmospheric and oceanic shifts...and how the data points towards informing public policy/private businesses.
Likewise, let me know if you have any topics of interest, I would love to explore beyond my own ideas!
